This week’s 10x recruiter edition is going to be direct.
Yes, let’s go through all the things that could go wrong while hiring and how to not get into the trap.
Here we go…
The Interview That Wasn't
Imagine getting a last-minute call for an interview, only to be greeted with a rejection email while still in the interview room.
That’s exactly what happened to this user.
After a promising phone call with the hiring manager, The person rushed to the company’s office for an in-person interview. But as soon as the interview wrapped up, he/she received an automated rejection email (which infact got delivered while they were in that interview session), leaving them feeling confused and discouraged (More like FURIOUS!).
It’s a classic case of mixed signals, and it’s a reminder that even the most promising job opportunities can take unexpected twists and turns.

AI Overload: Are Job Seekers Getting Fed Up?

Sure, AI can help find top talent faster, but too much reliance on bots can make candidates feel like just another number.
In fact, almost 40% of job seekers would actually turn down a job offer if the company was too reliant on AI.
Are you more likely to reject a job offer if you feel AI is being misused or overused, especially with a college degree? Read More.

A Guide to valuing Internal candidates
See your team with a new set of eyes
Ever looked at your team and thought, 'Wow, they'd be great at this job!'?
It's time to stop seeing them as coworkers and start seeing them as potential candidates. Valuing internal candidates is a win-win: you get to tap into your existing talent pool, and your employees feel appreciated.
But how do you do it right?
It's all about asking the right questions and approaching them differently. Think of it as a fresh perspective on people you already know. And hey, even if they don't get the job, it's still a great way to boost morale and show them you care.
Plus, studies show that companies committed to internal hiring keep their employees around for 60% longer. Read more about the 20 questions you must ask Internal Candidates.
